ACI is the Datacenter software defined network from Cisco and is the key enabler for the digital transformation of our society.

Before ACI, the datacenter network was a static environment. The provisioning and the management was performed by individuals. It was slow. It was not automated. It was not programmable.

The network team was in charge of the network and the applications were running on the network. There were no awareness between the network and the applications. Companies were structured in rigid organization world and that became a brake on innovation.

ACI is a game-changer. It enables the digitization of the society. The network resources in a Datacenter are now available on demand.
