2017 - 2018 WEEKEND DATES AND PLACES

September 15 - 17, 2017 - Conley Resort Back by popular demand! Optional activity to Pirates Cove Water Park for an additional cost of $17 and payable at check in. Pirates Cove has two slides, sauna and hot tub.

October 27 - 29, 2017 - Camp Guyasuta This weekend includes a visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. Spending money for the concession stand at the zoo is optional. Additional optional activities include: archery $10; and/or climbing wall or zip line $15. Optional activity choices must be included during registration.

November 10 - 12, 2017 - Moraine State Park “Celebrate Thanksgiving.” No additional spending money will be needed for any activities this weekend.

December 8 - 10, 2017 - Days Inn in Coraopolis Activities include: indoor swimming; shopping at the local mall and/or going out to eat during this weekend.

April 6 - 8, 2018 - Raccoon State Park Campers will stay in modern cabins. Campers should bring appropriate clothing for the season and all of their own bedding and toiletries. No additional spending money will be needed for this weekend.

May 4 - 6, 2018 - Days Inn in Coraopolis Spend the weekend relaxing at the hotel or explore the surrounding Pittsburgh area.

June 8 - 10, 2018 - Camp Guyasuta This weekend includes a visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. Spending money for the concession stand at the zoo is optional. ACHIEVA WEEKEND CAMPWeekend Camps are offered for individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Transportation is NOT provided to and from any of the weekend camp sites.

Most camp weekends begin on Friday evening and end on Sunday morning. The cost of the two-night weekend is $310.

A Camp ACHIEVA information form must be completed and received at least one month prior to attending a requested weekend camp. Contact Karen Vodenichar at 724.775.1602 x10 or kvodenichar@achieva.info if you need a form to complete. The form will be kept on file for future weekends. You must update the information form when there are any changes.

Individual weekend information will be mailed with confirmations for each session which will include a packing list and directions.
