Personal Training Prep Course

Participation in all activities in the HPER Building, at the University Recreation Sports Complex, or any program sponsored by the College of Education and Health Professions or the department of University Recreation, regardless of location, is voluntary on behalf of all participants. All participants acknowledge and agree that the University of Arkansas does not provide insurance for any of its activities and shall not be liable for any injuries that occur at any of these locations or any of its programs.

The Personal Trainer Prep Courseis designed to prepare individualsto take the ACE Personal Trainer certi�cation exam.

This 8-week course provides curriculum and materials consisting of powerpoint presentations, lectures, interactive group activities, and practical programming/training. The Prep Course does NOT certify individuals as personal trainers or guaranteeemployment with UREC. Individuals wishing to become certi�ed personal trainers must register separately for an ACE Personal Trainer certi�cation exam at

Wednesday Evenings7:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M.February 15th - April 11th

Cost for the ACE Personal Trainer Prep Course is $150.00 for students and non-students.

Cost includes all relevant course materials, including the ACE Personal Trainer Manual 4th Edition 2-Book Set.
