Accomplishments

Eagle Scout-For my Eagle scout project I raised money and constructed an in-ground trampoline for the Children of Hope Academy (a school for mentally handicapped students).It felt good knowing that I did something good for this non-profit organization, and it also felt good to be a part of the Eagle Nest.

Region Title- Our team went through many hours of practicing to accomplish this goal. Win after win we had to make sure we didnt get complacent. After a long season we were able to accomplish our goal of winning region, but we were not able to accomplish our ultimate goal of taking state. It felt amazing to win a region title, but it felt a lot worse to lose to a team we had already beaten twice in the semi-final of playoffs. A great season though.

Grade-I've had really good grades throughout all of high school. I've gotten all A's with the exception of one A-. To accomplish this goal I've had to put my priorities in order and make sure I study for tests and do my homework. Having good grades makes you feel good about yourself and it will also help you out in the future. It's very important.

VP-I had a goal of making student council last year. I made flyers, went through interviews, and did a skit in front of all of the juniors. It was a pretty stressful week and I was really nervous about the skit. It all payed off when I found out that I would be the Vice-President. All the nerves and stress immediate turned into relief and joy.

Member of DM and the Boyz-I have a really good group of friends that I love. I've made it a goal in my life to have friends who influence my life for the better. My friends have done that for me. Having these friends makes me feel more confident and comfortable in a number of social settings.
