Adminstration

Accessplan LMS enables course administration tasks to becompleted in a fraction of the time it takes to performthem manually. The system’s principle of ‘enter once,use many times’ means a learners name is only enteredonce but can be used to quickly produce personalisedjoining instructions , pre-course questionnaires, coursedate registers, evaluation forms, certification follow-upletters and much more. These processes can be fullyautomated, saving considerable time and effort anddocuments can be sent via email where appropriate.

Course Date ManagementThe system allows you to create a course schedule formonths or years ahead. Accessplan LMS allows you toeasily add dates, change a course ‘run’ status, modify orcancel a course date. If a class is modified or cancelledautomatic email notifications are sent notifying studentsof the change.

Key resources such as rooms, equipment and tutors canbe allocated and assigned to the relevant course. Youcan also define costs for each resource which are used togenerate profitability metrics.

The maximum number of students can be defined to eachclass and waiting lists are automatically generated forcourses that are over subscribed. Likewise a minimumclass size can be set with automatic email notificationswarning of under subscribed course dates.

A graphical training planner provides a snapshot overviewof the training that is scheduled and will let you see whichare over-subscribed or in contrast short on numbers.

Course date checklists can be produced that allow you tokeep track of the important tasks for each course.

Booking ManagementLearners can access a searchable course database andmake booking requests online 24 hours a day 7 days aweek. Likewise, line managers are able to access thesystem to make group bookings or authorise employeerequests. Accessplan LMS will check that candidates meetthe pre-requisites for a particular course and will alsofacilitate waiting list management and requests forinformation, evaluation forms, certification, follow-upletters and much more. These processes can be fullyautomated, saving considerable time and effort.Documents can also be sent via email where appropriate.

Any SCORM compliant e-learning course can be launchedfrom Accessplan LMS, whether bespoke or out of the box.Learners can access e-learning straight from the selfservice learner portal. Accessplan LMS is compatible withthe following e-learning formats - Scorm 2004, Scorm 1.2,Class Server IMS+

Resourse ManagementThe resource management module allows the creation ofan inventory of resources including equipment such aslaptops and projectors, venues, trainers and supplies.Resources can then be allocated to individual coursedates. Accessplan LMS has an inbuilt conflict resolutionmechanism that detects conflicts of venue, trainer,equipment and raises alerts and warning emailsaccordingly.

Accessplan LMS not only tracks the availability of aresource but calculates the cost of all resources needede.g. trainer, room, hire of projector, catering, etc. Fromthese costs the system auto-generates the minimumnumber of candidates required to ‘break even’.Notifications can also be auto generated to warn you ofany upcoming course dates that are running at a loss.

ReportingAccessplan LMS features a comprehensive reporting toolthat allows all aspects of your organisation learning anddevelopment activities to be reported on. Short Answer AssessmentsIn some cases you may require a more comprehensive .answer. Short answer allows the student to submit free .text to answer question(s). This has to be marked .by a tutor.
