inspection procedures are more extensive, stricter and harder than is demanded

by law. And our products are simply safer.

Strength Tests: The rotating bending test simulates the load on rims when travel-

ling through bends, whereas the roll-off test checks the wheel under overload

conditions and in the impact test the impact strength of the edge of the rim is

tested.

Material & Surface Tests: In these tests both the chemical composition, tensile

strength and elongation values of the rim and the resistance of the surface to

scratching and corrosion are derived.

Endurance Testing: The endurance test takes place using a bi-axial wheel test

bay (ZWARP). Here the greatest loads which can occur across the lifetime of

a wheel are simulated.

Vehicle Tests: In the clearance test, the wheel bolt tightness test and the

threshold test the wheels are tested under hard conditions on the test track.

FEM-Analysis: The result (figure

left) shows in red where the greatest

forces act on the alloy wheels.

deTailsThe bicycle carrier can be folded up with only a few quick motions. The folded-in rear lights are located inside the carrier and are well protected during transport.

The foldable bicycle carrier for the towing hitch is the smallest, lightest and most

compact in its class. It can carry two bicycles with a total weight of up to 60 kg.

Attachment by means of a patented quick-release fastener eliminates the need for

adjustment. The bicycle tyres are accommodated firmly and safely in the bicycle

rails by means of a practical ratchet system. With the aid of the new foot switch, the

bicycle carrier can also be folded downwards even with mounted bicycles, so that

the tailgate remains accessible. When fully folded, it can be stored in the luggage

compartment in no time at all. On request, a bicycle carrier for three bicycles is also

available. Also suitable for transporting e-bikes. Thanks to the supplied transport

of anodised aluminium profile and designed for

transporting up to three bicycles. It is supplied

pre-assembled and is thus particularly easy to mount.

The practical ratchet system and the comfortable

distance between the rails allow the bicycles to be

fastened easily. Opening of the tailgate remains

unaffected when the bicycle carrier is installed

(without bicycles). With anti-theft locking device.

the ISOFIX fastening system ensures that the child's

by a height-adjustable, 5-point full belt safety harness.

Further features include an adjustable handle, an

easily removable, washable fabric covering, a height-
