Sometimes other substrates are combined with X-Board. In this case high strentgth adhseives are used.

Tie rods with a washer and nut are used to hold some FSU's together for extra rigidity.

All kinds of edging are possible. One can expose the X-Board core for decorative effect too.

Metal edging can be used for high friction or hard working edges and surfaces.

Varnishes are used for high moisture environments. Both matt or gloss are available.
