Description: Free TextProvide an explanation of this access group. This should be used as an indicator as to what users would be included within this group and what functionality they would have in the system. Ex: ALL FUNCTIONS, PHLEBOTOMY STAFF, BBK SUPERVISORS

User and User Name: Lookup into MIS User DictionaryThese are the users assigned to this access user group. When you pull in the User mnemonic, the User Name will populate. This is a scrolling field.

Pend Alert (LAB/MIC/BBK): Y/NEnter Y if users within this access group should be prompted with a warning message box “There are Pending Specimens/Result Alerts” and enable the users to review outstanding LAB/MIC/BBK specimens.

This prompt works in conjunction with the ‘Pending Alert Frequency’ field in the LIS Customer Defined Parameters and the ‘Pending Alert Hours’ field in the Test Dictionary. It will also work with the ‘Department Pending Alert’ in the Access Dictionary.

Confidential Tests/Procs (LAB/MIC/BBK/PTH): Lookup to TestsList any confidential tests or procedures users within this access group should have available when processing and viewing specimens. A lookup here will look into the LAB or BBK Test dictionary, MIC Procedure dictionary, and PTH Medical Term dictionary (Proc types) for tests and procedures labeled as confidential ‘Y’. If this field is blank, users in this Access Group cannot access any confidential tests in the system. This is a scrolling field.

Restrict to Res Entry (LAB/MIC/BBK/PTH): Lookup to DeptList the departments and associated specimens that will be available to users within this access group when in Result Entry. If these fields are left blank, the user can access any department in the corresponding module.

Department Pend Alert (LAB/MIC/BBK): Lookup to DeptThis field is only accessible if the Pending Alert prompt is set to ‘Y’. Specify what departments you want pending alerts to display to the users. If the prompt is left blank and Pending Alert is set to Y, then pending alerts for all departments will appear to this user group.

LAB/MIC/BBK/PTH: Y/N Enter Y to the specific modules and routines that users within this access group will be able to utilize within the system.
