Business Continuity?

Business Continuity?

As headlined above, The GAO investigators found you

likely don’t have it, and can’t get it …

“…facilities-based competitors have extended their

networks to [”or lit up”] a relatively small subset of

buildings in the [Seattle MSA].”

The GAO report concludes …

“competitive last mile Telco wire-line infrastructure

alternatives do not exist for most commercial

buildings.”

So, the GAO suggests …

“Alternative supply for dedicated access can be

provided by competitors in the form of alternative

technologies, such as Point-to-Point Wireless

connections.”

Typical Service Ordering Process

1. Call Accel Net Inc.

or E-Mail me

[email protected]

with the Physical Address(es)

you want served

2. In order to give you a Quote, I need to know:

• What are we trying to accomplish?

(i.e. replacing a T-1, or

just redundant Backup for T-1, etc.)

• How many full-time PC users?

• Any on-site Servers?

• How many IP Addresses do they need?

• Can you get WAN port MRTG info?

…the more info the better!

3. I’ll immediately determine

whether it appears we can

can serve the Address(es).

Then, I will put together a

“Work Order” Quote

of estimated MRC and NRC.

4. I’ll E-Mail or Fax you

the Work Order Quote(s)

for Service to the Address(es).

5. You deliver the Quote(s)

to the prospective Client.

6. Customer

looks at Quote,

decides to move

forward

7. Along with returning the signed

and completely filled out

Work Order, Customer provides

Property Manager contact info.

We then arrange to get on the Roof

In order to conduct a Site Survey.

8. With Site Survey results,

Accel Net finalizes Work

Order MRC and NRC, and

schedules an Install Date.
