The2019amendmentofstatutescallsfortheSt.PetersburgandSarasota-ManateecampusestomeetthecharacteristicsofaSACSCOCdesignatedbranchcampus.ThestatuteadoptstheSACSCOC’sdefinitionforabranchcampus,whichisan“…off-campusinstructionalsitethatisgeographicallyapartfromthemaincampusoftheinstitution,wherebythebranchcampusis:

Permanent;

Offerscoursesineducationalprogramsleadingtoadegree,certificate,orotherrecognizededucationalcredential;

Hasitsownfacultyandadministrativeorsupervisoryorganization;and(seeRegionalChancellor/VProleandMumaCollegeofBusinessexample)
