NICI 2004 IPv6 planning 「 Construction of IPv6 Internet Exchange Project

for ISP IPv6 Backbone Network 」 Objects

To reduce the cost and promote the IPv6 infrastructures of ISP

To provide IPv6 traffic exchange between Academic and Business domain

To assist the connection construction between ISP and global IPv6 networks

To provide the IPv6 environment for IPv6 applications and testing

NICI 2004 IPv6 planning (cont.) scheme

The links between ASCC and participants are focus on the Native and dual-stack IPv6

ASCC will provide needed equipments and interfaces for the participants T1, E1, T3, STM-1, FE and GE

We will provide the rack spaces, power, UPS, and air conditioner for participants

There are multiple carriers for choose to lower the cost of participants To provide the 6Bone pTLA IPv6 address for initial use, and assist the early

construction of the participants We can provide IPv6-over-IPv4 tunnel connection before the physical link c

onnection We also provide IPv6 tunnel connection and IPv6 pTLA address for the inte

resting network to join the IPv6 world
