ABSTRACT

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is the most common cause of psychiatrist

consultation in childhood !ts dia"nosis is #ased no$adays in clinical criteria Syndromical

varia#ility% comor#idity $ith #ehavioral or perceptual and motor disorders% or an&iety and

depresion% ma'e reachin" a relia#le dia"nosis difficult Due to this fact% $e chose patients

$ithout comor#idity as sample

!ts a descriptive study of several cases series% $here the sample (n*) are + children dia"nosed

$ith ADHD at the ,niversity Hospital of the Canary !slands Several scales have #een used in

order to e&plore as many areas as posi#le $ith the aim to "et the most relia#le research The

emotional e&pression of the "roup have #een evaluated% accordin" to the &pression and

motion Scale for Children (SC) in order to measure medication side effects in patients

e&pression .e also used Conners scale% $hich detects ADHD evaluatin" information collected

from parents and teachers CH!s scale% to rate DR0B scale% measurin" illness impact in

mornin" and ni"ht time and ma'in" a comparison #et$een them 1!D scale% 2uantifyin"

ADHD associated difficulties alon" the day and in various locations .3!RS scale% to measure

the evaluation of TDAH and its improval% as $ell as previous functional difficulties y#er"s
