Thesis informatics engineering study program , Program of informatics technology and computer science, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. supervisors : Rekyan Regasari MP, ST.,MT dan Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si.,MT.Ph.D.Pencak Silat is one of the Indonesians heritage. The martial arts have been existed in Indonesia for a long time and still maintained until now.Injuries among the athletes and fight between pencak silat academy because their losing in a trial match is commonly happen.In a trial match, usually one of the side does not accept if their athletes defeated because it is embarrass their academy. There is no system that used to help the pencak silat trial to solve this problem.The trial could be helped by using deccision support system. Deccision support system is a complex processe that can be influenced by many factors, human or non-human. The method that used isSimple Additive Weighting(SAW). With this system the athletes trial now can be done faster and safer.There are 14 criterias for the trial of pencat silat athletes. Athletes who get the highest score for each class passed the trial and entered the team. Weights for the SAW method is obtained from the Random Search algorithm. The tests used are validation test and system validation test of accuracy. The resulst of verification test is 100%, it means that the system works properly as needed. While the accuration test result is 80%, which means that the deccision support system works properly and fit with theSimple Additive Weighting(SAW) method.Key terms : Decision Support Systems, SAW, Pencak Silat, trial
