Abstract: This work is based on the social networking aspect of group meetings. This project lays out designs and patterns for efficiently selecting a meeting point according to different people connected via the group. This is obtained by using some advanced techniques like Efficient Notification of Meeting Points(ENMP) and Point of Interest (POI).ENMP continuously reports the optimal meeting point to the user. It also gives common meeting point for all the users in different possible locations. The common aim is to find nearest safe region for all the users in the group and to reduce communication frequency. The existing system approaches few techniques based on manual location based queries to find individual user locations and then manualy select a meeting point.the proposed system advances the existing system with far better approaches for finding the location of the users and then intelligently selecting a meeting point. It reduces the client server communication frequency and efficiently find meeting points for group meetings.
