Abstinence, or abstaining from sexual activity and intercourse, does not mean doing without intimacy until marriage.

Intimacy, or a closeness between two people that develops over time, can still be achieved.

BENEFITS OF ABSTINENCE:

-Eliminates both partner’s risk of contracting STI’s.

-It is the only 100% effective method to avoid unplanned pregnancy.

-Allows you to uphold your personal values and identify if your partner’s values align with yours

-Allows you to build a deeper connection with your partner

ABSTINENCE PROJECT:

You will be working in groups to create a unique poster that will be hung around the school to promote choosing abstinence

DETAILS:

-Must promote abstinence in a unique way

-Must be school appropriate

-Your message must be clear to the reader

This will be a Test Grade! Plan carefully with your group and make sure each member contributes an idea for the poster. This is a collaborative effort! You will have today and tomorrow to complete your poster. You may bring in supplies from home to complete your poster.
