    his store.

    Their is legend that the nickname camefrom his fairness in officiating cockfights but without proof this is just wivestales.

    Career On August 4th, 1834, Abe

    was elected to the IllinoisGeneral Assembly.

    In 1836 Lincoln was re-elected, He also receivedhis license to startpracticing law.
