Daily Oral Math

• After completing your daily oral math, look closely at a problem Abe may have had at his store. Try to develop a problem using the vocabulary during pioneer times. IE. Shillings, silk, sugar, cents, ginger.

• When you have finished create a problem and have a partner solve it.

• War has been a part of American history since the Revolutionary War to the War in Iraq. Abraham Lincoln had his thoughts on the war. Following our discussion, write your thoughts about the War in Iraq in the form of a quote on the envelope provided. We will put them on the bulletin board when you are finished.
