ABOUT VIRTUAL-POWER-AMP-VOICINGS
WHAT ARE VIRTUAL-AMP-VOICINGS?
Virtual-Amp-Voicings are re-configurations based on the output recording of the actual speaker
loaded Tube-Amp. That said, Virtual-Amp-Voicings are not the result of simple EQ shapings. They are
combinations of the `natural` EQ shaping in the frequency spectrum.
Additionally to the actual Tube-Amp voicing (`T`-voicing) this Cab-Pack consists of/contains an
Idealized-FLAT-Amp (`I`-voicing) and four more virtual Amp voicings. The differences between these
six Amp voicings (H, I, K, P, S, T) are visualized and described below:
I: Idealized-FLAT-Amp & T: Tube-Amp

I: Idealized-FLAT-Amp voicing. No coloration, 100% flat. Also/Popularly known as `MIC + DI` method.
Technically it's the recommended variant for signal paths including an actual or modeled Tube-
Power-Amp in the signal chain.
T: The actual Tube-Power-Amp variant. Some may know them as `MIC only` method, when capturing
cabinet impulse responses with an Tube-Power-Amp. Recommended as a `starting point`, if no actual
or modeled Tube-Power-Amp is in the signal chain. Some prefer `T`-influenced coloration in the IR
anyway for extra scoop and `thump`.
H: Virtual Half Tube Amp voicing
H: Virtual Half Tube-Power-Amp voicing: In-between `I` & `T `. Reduced `T`-coloration, but not as
colorless as the Idealized-FLAT-Amp (`I`).

K: Virtual Konvex Amp voicing
K: Virtual Konvex Amp voicing: `I`-shaped low-end, combined with the inversion of the scooped mid-
/high-end bandwidth of the actual Tube-Power-Amp.

P: Virtual Push Amp voicing
P: Virtual Push Amp voicing: Represents a combination of the `T`-low-end and `I`-mid/high-end. If
`thump` is missing in the `I`-variant, `P` could be the preferred choice.

S: Virtual Scoop Amp voicing
S: Virtual Scoop Amp: Vice versa from `P`: low-end is `I `, mid/high-end is a `T´-adoption. Tube-
Power-Amp `scoop`, but without overwhelming low-end response.
