U.S. Army ATSC & CAPDL (continued)
Issues Encountered and Solutions AppliedThe Army Training Support Center (ATSC) changed Validation Procedures three years into program, requiring additional steps, time, and direct costs. The Information Experts worked internally to develop a new process that would accomplish the new goals and additional steps, with minimal stress to the Proponent Schools.
The Army updated their ALMS in the middle of a Task Order 11. Unfortunately, the new ALMS did not work the same as the old. The new ALMS required additional programming steps. The Information Experts team went above and beyond what the contract originally stated and determined what was needed and incorporated it into Task Order 11 and all subsequent Task Orders.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is a federal agency whose mission is to make markets for consumer financial products and services work for Americans—whether they are applying for a mortgage, choosing among credit cards, or using any number of other consumer financial products.
ChallengesThe CFPB engaged Information Experts to undertake a national research effort to understand small businesses’ experiences with financial well-being programs for their employees, what their goals are in helping employees improve financial well-being, and employers’ needs and gaps in tools and services they offer to their employees to improve their financial well-being.

CFPB (continued)
SolutionTo engage small businesses, Information Experts relied on its own network of owners and managers to schedule one-on-one meetings across the country. Information Experts also reached out directly to employees of small businesses by placing onlineads in three major metropolitan areas across the country. Within minutes of the first ad being placed, employees started registering on the website. In total, 143 employees registered to participate in nine focus groups in the three cities. They provided their insights from small businesses ranging in size from 2 to 385 employees.
Because of Information Experts’ interactions with the small business owners and their employees, CFPB gained valuable insights into the goals owners have in providing financial well-being benefits to their employees and what their employees’ expectations and reservations are in receiving these benefits. With this information in hand, CFPB is now positioned to offer tools and guidance to small businesses across the country that are interested in starting financial well-being programs.
