DOCTOR MAGED WILLIAM Dr William has been practicing as a Cardiologist on the Central Coast since 2003 in private rooms, Gosford Private Hospital and both Gosford and Wyong Public Hospitals. He is a conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle and has trained and mentored a large number of medical students and Junior Doctors.Dr William has been the Department head of Cardiology at Gosford and Wyong hospitals since 2011. Dr William has wide expertise in Cardiology with special interest in heart failure, rhythm management and device therapy.

DOCTOR MAHESH NAIK Dr Mahesh Naik is a Senior Staff Specialist and Deputy Head of the Geriatric Department at Wyong Hospital. Dr Naik is passionate about education and is a conjoint lecturer at Newcastle Universities School of Medicine as well the past Director of Prevocational and Educational training at Wyong Hospital. Dr Naik’s areas of expertise include treating and managing complex, comorbid geriatric patients including patients suffering from Dementia.

DOCTOR SCOTT DUNKLEY Dr Scott Dunkley, Senior Staff Specialist Haematologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, NSW and VMO at Orange Hospital, NSW. He is published and has a special interest in thrombotic and bleeding disorders.

PROFESSOR VINCENT THIJS Professor Vincent Thijs, the Head of Stroke at the Austin Health, VIC. He was previously a professor at the Department of Neurosciences at KU Leuven (University of Leuven, Belgium). His research interests include acute

stroke treatment, stroke prevention, young stroke, the genetics of atrial fibrillation and stroke and neuroimaging.

DOCTOR SU KALAVA Dr Kalava is Australian trained and has worked in a variety of settings including tertiary hospitals, regional and rural areas across QLD, SA, and NSW. She has completed extensive work experience locally at both Wyong and Gosford hospitals and has worked in a mood disorders unit that specialises in treatment resistant mood disorders. She also completed over a years experience in specialist drug and alcohol services at Royal North Shore Hospital and specialises in addiction psychiatry, with a special interest in chronic pain.

DOCTOR JOHN CHANG Dr John Chang graduated in medicine and surgery from the University of NSW with first class honours. After completing his specialist ophthalmology training in Australia, Dr Chang was awarded the RANZCO Eye Foundation scholarship to obtain further subspecialist training in Medical Retina & Uveitis at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Dr Chang's areas of clinical expertise include cataract surgery, diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases and uveitis. He is experienced in performing retinal laser treatment, complex cataract surgery in the presence of uveitis or retinal disease, and intravitreal injection therapies.

DOCTOR KYM COLLINS Dr Collins has lived on the Central Coast since 1989 and currently works as a Sexual Health Physician at Gosford, Albury and Wagga.In 2000 she moved sideways out of General Practice and completed her physician training in 2008.Her passion is teaching health professionals to be more comfortable talking about sex and dealing with STIs and other sex related conditions. Don’t forget, life is a sexually transmitted condition!
