  • Coursework in collaboration, stage management, playwriting, directing, producing and new play development

  • Includes one year of studio acting training

12. BFA in MUSICAL THEATER

  • Headed by Dr. Patricia Raine, renowned teacher of voice and musical theater technique
  • Common core with Acting program: Acting studio, voice and speech, stagecraft, script analysis

  • Specialized coursework in singing, dance, musicianship, musical theater repertory
  • Emphasis on integrated singing-acting
  • Grads working on Broadway, in regional theaters, in Philly theaters, national and international tours

14. BFA in ACTING

  • Headed by David Howey, renowned actor and director
  • Shares common core with Musical Theater
  • Specialized coursework in combat, movement, dialects, camera work

16. MUSICAL THEATER MINOR

  • An option for Acting and DPP majors in Brind School and Voice and Dance majors in CPA
  • 15 credits of voice, music, dance and musical theater classes
  • Admission by audition spring of freshman year
  • ~15 places in MT Minor divided among CPA
