SOIL : Genesis
School of Inspired Leadership was created in 2008
when top executives of corporations and spiritual
thinkers got together to address the most difficult
challenge of changing the reality of our current times, for
a better tomorrow.
SOIL was hence co-created by 32 leading companies
and supported by 25 NGOs
SOIL is fortunate to have been blessed by Swami
Chinamayanada, whose teachings inspire the
functioning of the B-school.

Himalayan Retreat - Appreciative Inquiry Course
Another learning intervention that unveils your real strength is the course on
Appreciative Inquiry conducted as a week-long program in the foothills of
Dharamshala (Sidhbari). Through various case studies, lectures, group
activities and reflection you understand what it is that you truly want to do and
how you can get there. And in the course of all this, you are supported by
faculty who have been leaders in the industry but have now chosen to develop
students and are driven by a deep sense of commitment and passion.

Soil has partnered with 3 unique International Business Schools for it’s
Student Exchange Programs.
MIP, Italy - MIP ilke SOIL was co-created by key Italian
companies and Politecnico di Milano, one of the most
prestigious Italian universities. It is well known for its tradition in
excellence in technology and innovation.
BGI, Seattle - BGI was founded as an alternative to the
traditional business school model for students wanting to
integrate values about social justice and environmental
sustainability into their business education. They are the first
business school to offer an MBA in Sustainability and are
ranked in the top 5 sustainable business schools in the US
UNB, Canada – One of the top five comprehensive universities
in Canada. As the largest research institution in New
Brunswick, UNB conducts 80 per cent of the province’s
research.
SOIL and MIP Joint Degree Program
JOINT DEGREE PROGRAMME
Students joining SOIL’s flagship Business Leadership Programme
(BLP) can now opt for the Joint Degree Programme by paying an
additional fee. This will entitle them to attend select courses at MIP
Italy for part of the year and the balance courses with BLP at SOIL.
This will therefore, be the international component of our BLP and
will entitle these students to get the requisite masters” degree from
Politecnico di Milano.
