My HometownI live in Annapolis, Maryland. Annapolis is the capital city of Maryland, just like Seville is the capital of Andalusia.

My HometownMaryland is very close to the ocean. Many people like to go out on boats, go fishing and crabbing and visit the beach. I love living near the water!

University and Career

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. I studied Elementary Education. This means I learned how to be a teacher!

I am a primary school teacher in the United States. I love working with children!

Food in MarylandMaryland is famous for the Maryland Blue Crab. It is a type of seafood that you eat with your hands. They are blue, but after you cook them, they turn red. We love to put a spice called “Old Bay” on the crabs. It is very delicious!

Sports in Maryland

The NFL football team in Maryland is the Baltimore Ravens. I am a huge fan, and I love cheering them on! Last year we won the NFL Championship (called the Superbowl)!

Baseball is also popular. The MLB baseball team in Maryland is the Baltimore Orioles. Baseball games are fun to go to with friends and family.
