About Leadership Lake Havasu
Leadership Lake Havasu (LLH), formerly known as Havasu Leadership Development (HLD), began in 1999-2000 when community leaders realized a need for leadership training in Lake Havasu City. The Chamber was asked to develop a program that would inspire participants to grow as leaders while learning more about their community with its issues and challenges, and how they as leaders could become change agents.
The LLH program is an intensive nine-month series ofsessions that investigate various leadership issues and obstacles that may inhibit personal and professional growth; it offers training and solutions through deep-dive lectures and activities.
The program uses three Pillars in the leadership process:
Grow, Connect, Collaborate.

“Eleven employees from Havasu Pest Control have participated in the Leadership Development program thus far. Each time we have found the best leaders already work for us, they just need the opportunity to develop or display their skills beyond their everyday job responsibilities. Leaders shape your culture, set the tone and mood for all of your employees. Strong leaders can create a productive and positive culture that increases the likelihood of business success. The HLD program offers this opportunity and I highly recommend this program.”
