H.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly) helps low-income seniors in Chicago maintain their independence by providing home upkeep and repair, a shopping bus, moving assistance, and three affordable apartment buildings where seniors can live comfortably in an intergenerational environment.

The Good Life Senior Residences at Pat Crowley House
1537 W. Rosemont Ave.PCH houses twelve seniors, four resident assistants and a family in a three-story six-flat in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. The building is equipped with a chair lift.
The Good Life Senior Residences at Nathalie Salmon House
7320 N. Sheridan Rd.NSH’s Good Life Residences house fourteen seniors, four resident assistants and two security guards. The building itself is a five-story elevator building with apartments for seniors and families in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

Basic Eligibility Guidelines 62 years of age or older, or 55 years of
age or older if disabled Desire to share common spaces with
different generations Does not require 24 hour nursing
assistance, as certified by a physician
