Tony Dowse, the founder of Environ, is a town planner by profession and

for the first five years of his working life gained valuable experience in both

residential and commercial development by working for International Real

Estate agent Healey and Baker.

In 1979 Tony formed his own development company and has since that time

concentrated primarily on residential, but also on commercial, industrial, retail and

leisure. In addition, Tony has continued as a consultant advising on new village

development and master planning and his experience in various sectors has

enabled him to understand the fundamentals of sustainable development.

If more new housing was as attractive as this there would be fewer objections to new development.
