For 2011, Empire Office is proud to celebrate our 64th year of service tobusiness communities around the nation. Empire Office is a recognizedindustry leader and the preeminent Steelcase furniture dealer in the UnitedStates. Additionally, we support a list of over 300 manufacturers to meet ourcustomers’ overall needs.The leadership of Empire is now three generations strong. Founded in 1946by Abraham Gaslow, Empire started with a team of five employees. Sixtyyears later, over 260 employees make up the Empire team. The founder’sson, Larry Gaslow, is now Empire’s Chairman. His son, Peter Gaslow, wasnamed President and CEO in 2006named President and CEO in 2006.Together, this dynamic father/son team continues to carry on the tradition ofthe family name by upholding the highest standards of quality andexemplary service to both the public and private sectors.

At the heart of every successful project is a process that ensures everything runs smoothly.
Empire’s Support Commitment:• Review all drawings, products and specifications• Recommend changes that will reduce costs and create efficiencies• Verify all finishes and COM’s• Assess loading areas and building rules for ease of delivery• Interface with client, architectural/design team and project consultants• Create milestone dates and critical paths• Create milestone dates and critical paths• Prepare specifications for order• Track orders with the factory• Attend job meetings• Prepare and distribute updates to team members• Schedule deliveries and installations• Assist electrician /voice data team with wiring installations through furniture• Help supervise and troubleshoot all deliveries and installations• Create and execute punchlist• Discuss and institute post move-in service plan with client

Introduce and advocate for the inclusion of measured environmental achievements by our manufacturing partners, and argue their competitive advantage in supplier selection.
Offer expert support in the decision-making required to safely recycle or dispose of use furniture to enable clients to exit environmentally unfriendly products of yesteryear in an environmentally sound way.
Sensitize new clients to the environmental issues in the selection of their new products.
