About DDQS Ltd
Daniel Dench Quantity Surveyors Ltd does exactly what it says it does; it is owned and
managed by Daniel Dench whose profession is Quantity Surveying.
In 2001 Daniel graduated from Plymouth University with a BSc (Hons) in Construction
Management & the Environment and immediately stepped into employment for a local
contractor. After 10months Daniel decided to step up the game and move to London
where he worked on city projects for a further 2 ½ years. During this period he gained
valuable experience working on high-rise construction and projects going through
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
After his time in London he moved back to his hometown Weymouth where he then
started working for Mansell Plc as Project Surveyor on the £9.5m refurbishment
project at the HMYOI Portland, which progressed onto the £12m project at Orchard
Plaza near Poole Quay. In 2007 Daniel then decided to become a Freelance Quantity
Surveyor so he took the risk of working independently until setting up his own
business in 2010. Since 2010 Daniel has never looked back, looking forward he upholds
the attitude to provide clients with independent, professional and reliable advice.

Daniel comes with 10years experience in the construction industry. He is also an
Incorporated Member Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) so all of his work is
governed by the CIOB’s Royal Charter and the Bye-Laws, which includes the CIOB
Rules and Regulations of Professional Competence & Conduct.
Daniel is also an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH).
DDQS Ltd also carry the following insurances - Professional Indemnity up-to
£2,000,000, Employers Liability up-to £10,000,000 and Public & Products Liability
Insurance up-to £5,000,000.
