Paramore

History of the BandParamore are an American rock band from Tennessee and formed in2004. There have been several band members throughout thehistory of the band with the only consistent member being HayleyWilliams.

All of the members are (ones in red are previous members and onesin black are present members):

Hayley Williams – lead vocals, keyboard, pianoTaylor York – lead/rhythm guitar, percussion, backing vocalsJeremy Davis – bassJosh Farro – lead guitar, backing vocalsJason Bynum – rhythm guitar, backing vocalsHunter Lamb – rhythm guitar, backing vocalsJohn Hembree – bassZac Farro – drums, percussion

Their debut album – “All We Know Is Falling” – which came out in2005 and was inspired by Jeremy Davis leaving the band. However hecame back to the band.

InfluencesThe band has had several influences intotheir music and into the way theyadvertise themselves as a band. A lot ofthe bands that they had influences fromhave gone onto perform alongside themduring concerts and performances. Someof the bands are also signed to the samerecord label as them so, it is likely thatthey got to know them and their waysthis way instead of through admiringthem from a young age.

Record Label

The record label that Paramore is signedto is Fueled by Ramen who producemusic in various rock genres. They weresigned to this label as it was found thatthe image of the band would be moresuccessful through not being attached toa major label. However, later on, theywere signed to both Atlantic Records andFueled by Ramen who are bothsubsidiary companies of he Warner MusicGroup.

Several of the bands that the group hasbeen influenced by are also signed to thesame record label. Due to this, it is likelythat Paramore would know about themas they were influenced by the bandsproduced by them at a young age.
