The Bal de La Rose, undeer the presidency of Sovereign Albert II of Principality of Monaco and his sister Princess Caroline, is held annually in the Salle des Étoiles of the Monte Carlo Sporting Club. The big social event is sponsored by The Princess Grace of Monaco Foundation, presided today by her daughter Princess Caroline of Hanover.
Created in 1954 by Princess Grace of Monaco, the “Bal de la Rose” gathers the elite of international society, but it is much more than a worldly event because all of its revenue is donated to the Princess Grace Foundation, which was established in 1964 as an international project to develop large humanitarian, philanthropic and artistic actions.
