PROJECT MODEL:
SAFE (SOLAR AND FLYWHEEL ENGAGED) SYSTEM
SAFE (SOLAR AND FLYWHEEL ENGAGED) SYSTEM
Brief Introduction:
It works on the combined effect of PV array, Flywheel, Batteries, DC brushless motor and asimple control system to check the connections and direct the flow of currents in different path asper requirement. Here the PV array would work as a renewable energy source and would provideenergy to charge the batteries that are being drained by the motors to drive the vehicle. Theflywheel would also store the energy when the vehicle increases its speed and this energy wouldbe used along with the energy generated by solar panel to charge the battery. This wouldobviously not make the system perpetual but it will surely increase its efficiency by a largedifference. The most important aspect of this SAFE system is that it will not only work under thesun but the flywheel used here in this system would not stop affecting its efficiency in a positivedirection even if it is not sunny outside.

PROJECT MODEL: DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF AN ALL TERRAIN
VEHICLE (ATV)
AN ALL TERRIAN VEHICLE (ATV)
Brief Introduction:
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a quad, quad bike, three-wheeler, four-wheeler, orquadric cycle as defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a vehicle thattravels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebarsfor steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain thanmost other vehicles. An ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) is a vehicle that rides on low pressure tires with large wheeltravel unlike On-road commercial vehicles. As the name implies, it is designed to tackle variouskinds of terrain that Mother Nature has created. To be successful at fast trail riding, an ATVmust have light weight, high power, good suspension and a low centre of gravity. The ability togo anywhere on any kind of terrain that most other vehicles could not cross soon made thempopular.Submitted by: Under the supervision of:

PROJECT MODEL: GREEN BUILDING INNOVATION
GREEN BUILDING
Brief Introduction:
A green building, which is also as a sustainable building is designed to meet some objectivessuch as occupant health; using energy, water and the other resource more efficiently andreducing overall impact to the environment. It is a cost saving technique to use limited resourceefficiently while creating healthier environment. Specification of window, ventilator, materialused for flooring, roofing and wall are adopted as per green building concepts to reduce use ofresource. Generally, the green building is considered to be an environmental component, as thegreen building materials are manufactured from local eco-sources i.e. environment friendlymaterials. It also reduces harmful impact on ecology.

PROJECT MODEL: SIMBHOAOLI SUGAR AND COGENERATION
PLANT PROTOTYPE
Simbhoaoli sugar and cogeneration plant prototype prototype
Brief Introduction:
India has more than 500 sugar manufacturing units which manufacture sugar from sugarcane. Its
installed capacity is 3221 MW. In simple terms, co-generation is the process of using a single
fuel to produce more than one form of energy in sequence. Co-generation of steam and
electricity can significantly increase the overall efficiencies of fuel utilization in process
industries. A minimum condition for co-generation is the simultaneous requirement of heat and
electricity in a favorable ratio, which is well fulfilled in the sugar industry. The study can throw
light on the policy implications as sustainable development demands new strategies, solutions
and policy making approach.

PROJECT MODEL:- ELECTRIC WIND TREE
Brief Introduction:
Wind energy has been harnessed by human beings for thousands of years for the purpose ofsailing, lifting water, grinding grains, etc. From the start of the 20th century, wind power hasbeen used to generate electricity with the help of windmills. Generally, windmills are tallstructures, say 120m tall, with turbines located on top of it. At these heights, there is enough

wind speed required for the blades in order to run turbines. This speed is known as cut-in speedwhich is generally 15 kmph.
The highlight is that the power can be produced right at the place where it will be used, avoiding the transmission and distribution losses.A ‘Wind tree’ has a rated capacity of about 3.1kW. It can power 15 street lamps of 50W orrun an electric car for 10,168 miles per year.

This project presents the development of a microcontroller based islanding detection for grid connectedinverter with very simple under/over voltage and under/over frequency islanding detection algorithms. The microcontroller monitors the under/over voltage and under/over frequency from utility grid and theprocessed value of voltage and frequency for turning ON/OFF the relay between a grid connected inverterand the utility grid. The project would alternatively use a variable frequency generator using 555timer for changing thefrequency while a standard variac shall be used to vary the input voltage for achieving the test conditionsas stated above.APPLICATIONS1. This detecting power grid synchronization failure system on sensing frequency or voltagebeyond the acceptable range could be used in that power houses where different supply sources areconnected parallel together to fulfill the energy demand.2. This system could be used in home automation system, where the consumer has different energysources such as solar or wind energy.3. By using this system, the consumer load could be automatically shifted to another source ofenergy.

ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKING
ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKING
Brief Introduction:
Electromagnetic brakes (also called electro-mechanical brakes or EM brakes) slow or stopmotion using electromagnetic force to apply mechanical resistance (friction). The original namewas "electro-mechanical brakes" but over the years the name changed to "electromagneticbrakes", referring to their actuation method. Since becoming popular in the mid-20th centuryespecially in trains and trams, the variety of applications and brake designs has increaseddramatically, but the basic operation remains the same.
Applications
In locomotives, a mechanical linkage transmits torque to an electromagnetic braking component.Trams and trains use electromagnetic track brakes where the braking element is pressed bymagnetic force to the rail. They are distinguished from mechanical track brakes, where thebraking element is mechanically pressed on the rail.Electric motors in industrial and robotic applications also employ electromagnetic brakes.

SOLAR POWER PORTABLE CHARGER
PORTABLE CHARGER
Brief Introduction:
A solution of efficiently using renewable Solar Energy and came up with this project , Tominimize the cost and to increase cost efficiency We have used less costing LM7085 VoltageRegulator to change any given voltage from 10-30v to 5v DC so that the solar cell can chargeLithium Rechargeable batteries connected as it gets charged At around 4volts . In our researchwe also came up with a solution of using Power Bank Module TP4221B So that the user canhave a powerbank which is handy and can be charged with Solar Panel. The Model aims to provide users with a solution of never running out of battery in their gadgetsWhich mostly work on 5Volt , A proper voltage regulator can provide different voltage outputFor several devices .Size of car windows in different model of cars are :Innova : 55cm x 42cm ( approx. )

Fortuner : 65 cm x 40cm ( approx.)Swift : 40 cm x 30cm (approx. )Wagonar : 60cm x 38cm (approx. )When travelling the car windows face sunlight on either directions which is enough to charge thebatteries connected through solar panel . The efficiency can further be increased using thin filmsolar pvc available in market . Solar panel produce DC voltage and amperage which can beregulated to charge a 3.7 volt battery and a mobile phone or similar electronic gadget can becharged directly . It is eco-friendly and long lasting project , very less maintenance required . Weall run short of electricity at places and are unable to charge our devices this portable project ishandy and can be detached and re arranged to make it work where sunlight is present further thebattery being charged can be used as a powerbank after evening .
