Founded in 1975, ABIMAQ - Brazilian Machinery Manufacturers Builders’ Association - is one of the most important entities in the Brazilian industrial sector.
Our mission: ABIMAQ is a representative entity of the strategic Brazilian machinery and
equipment Industry, prioritizing the national interests against those pertaining to sectors and the collectives against the individual ones. Our Mission is, while acting in an independent way, to promote the sustainable development in the sector, through political-institutional products, services and acts that contribute to:
systemic and enterprise competitiveness; finance production and trade; and promote the growth of business in the national and international markets

CSHPA - Abimaq brings together companies that holds design technology, selection
and / or production of universal application components and / or specific to the
installation of industrial automation equipment or production lines, in discrete or
continuous process systems, as well as manufacturers of hydraulic components,
pneumatic, mechanical, electromechanical, and the like.
The sector comprises products and diverse range of complex services that interact
with all other industry sectors such as: automation of units for assembly, painting and
measuring process systems in the automotive industry, handling and positioning of
materials in lines manufacturing, loading, unloading and transfer of parts between
machines, automation of continuous processes in the chemical, food, steel, etc..
feeding and dosing of raw materials, among others.
IPDMAQ – The innovation Agency
The Institute for Research and Technological Development for the Machinery and
Equipment Industry (IPDMAQ) works with the aim of guiding companies in the capital goods sector on the preparation process for innovative projects and bringing them in closer proximity with institutions that support the country's industrial modernization.
