What?
The Learning Lab will be a physical space for testing
technology, trying new hardware and software and learning how
to make best use of it.
It will be a safe and neutral space away from classrooms and work
spaces where users can learn, teach, create and
experiment, all with the help
of experienced staff.

Using these concepts, the Learning Lab is designed to encourage creativity,
imagination, play and learning by providing an environment to experiment.
For D&A, this will raise the quality and impact of our learning and teaching.
FE should be the home of vocational, hands-on
creativity and imagination.
We don’t want to kill creativity!
(Ken Robinson 2006)
We want people to have the opportunity to develop and
enhance their skills.
