The following feature enhancements and improvements are now available in ABELMed 12.25. Collectively they provide new workflow efficiencies and system options that will save you time and increase productivity!

View Encounters by Clinical Role When opening the patient’s Encounters tab, ABELMed now creates the most efficient view by automatically displaying all encounters based on the default clinical role of the logged on user.

Encounter Performance You now have the option to Specify and View the Last ‘XX’ number of Encounter visits to see only the most recent exact encounters that you wish to review.

Encounter Usability• ABELMed now auto collapses findings when

clicking “Sign off”• Merging in a template from the toolbar or

search field auto opens the finding• ABELMed now remembers the last SOAP tree

options so only those actively used will display• Lab results listed in the Encounter lab history

viewer can be copied into any text-based finding

Investigations• Refresh enhancements were added to greatly

improve efficiency• Patient Therapeutic result ranges can now be

individually saved• You can now assign a Task default template to

Patient Tasks You can now save the viewer settings so that tasks are organized in a way that makes sense for your workflow.

Patient Appointment ContactsYou can now save time and effort by creating multiple patient appointment contacts directly from the patient’s appointment tab.

Appointment Scheduler Functions• Add\view appointment notes directly from the

scheduler• “Copy” and “Paste” functionality has been added to

save you time and reduce the potential for errors• Appointment tasks are easier to access and you can

now send a letter, add an appointment note or send an email without opening the patient chart

• The Adding new patient function has additional data fields for speedy entry

Contact ManagerA total redesign now makes it easier to print a letter, send an email, book the appointment, and/or add notes all from one screen.

Health Card Validation Status Now you can check, at a glance, the HCV status of patients with booked appointments. It is now faster to validate Health Cards too.

New Forms ABELMed now ships with the latest Rourke Baby form for 2017 and the new Perinatal forms.

Prescriptions Rx is now more secure – it prints with a watermark showing the drug (if only one prescribed), patient name and prescribing provider.
