Brothers and Sisters in Christ, We would like to invite you to join us in fuifiiiing a dream, a dream we believe is straight from the heart of God. Please con sider what the Lord has given us to do, and what the Lord would have you to do in making His dream become a reality. Rural Zimbabwe is a land unlike ours. Few still have access to education, it's opportunity and the freedom from superstition it provides. There is no dentist for this area of over one-million people and no prevention or'relief from the pain and infection of dental diseases. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not wide spread. There is little avenue for print, radio, or television evangelism. Many who come to Christ lose Him through false teaching. The need for sound teaching of the Word is great. ; For o^r eight yeare Amanda and I have had the dream of I serving our Lord as foreign field missionaries. This goal has in- ijfluenced our cai;©§^c..ch0.ices of Dentistry and Education. These , /professions allow us access to Maricist countries like Zimbabwey'^ where an evangelist or minister may not be able to go. r " y Ias a dentist will be able to touch many lives for Christ through my practice. The dental clinic is the vehicle which allows us into Zimbabwe, and the hub of many of our activities. Through my dental care, and material sacrifice the love of Jesus will be demonstrated and verbalized. Will you join me in meeting these people's physical and spiritual needs? ^ Amanda asa teacher will have a special opportunity to extend the Word of God. Ina uniquearrangement the.Marxist government allows open religious educa tion in the classroom. As an ^Jem^ntary teacher she would be able to freely evangelize through this setting. You could join her in spreading the Gospel. Beyond the dental and educational needs of the people there are great needs within the Church. Discipleship, training, and sound teaching of the Word are urgently needed. Our experience as leaders in adult and teen Bible studies and ministries, seminary course work, and a willingness to serve will enable us to meet these needs. You canjpin us in this, work! Dream for God with us. Join us in spirit through .^jorayer and giving. By prayer and giving God expresses His power through you. Bythese alone will the dental clinic be established and maintained. And it is through the clinic that we shall be able to enter Zimbabwe. Consider what the Lord would have you to do to help meet the needs of our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe. Join us as Christ reaches to His Church through us. EVANGELISM

—Zimbabwe is currently 20% Christian; missionexperts expect 50% to become Christian by2000.

—Our professional activities will daily bring us intocontact with many individuals.

—Dental practice and teaching will allow us bothto demonstrate and verbalize the love of Christ.

TEACHING

•High illiteracy rates hinder many from a personal study of God's Word. ,

t

•We plan for Atnanda to teach in the government's schodl System.

•Instruction is in English; the student to teacherratio is 40 to 1.

-Amanda has been informally offered a positionin the school system of Zimbabwe.

DENTISTRY

—There are less than 100 dentists serving the 10million people of Zimbabwe.

—Our goal is to establish a permanent dentalclinic at Mashoko Christian Hospital. The clinic

\) is the vehicle which allows us into the country.—To provide care to people beyond the Mashoko

area using pontable equipment carried on ourtruck...

—To provide a place of service for U.S. dentistson short orJong-term mission trips.

DISCIPLESHIP & TRAINING

—Many come to Christ only to lose Himthroughfalse teaching.

—Our goals include to establish discipling rela-. tionships with some of the 700 boarding

students at Mashoko High School...

—To begin small group Bible studies in nearbyvillages...

—To actively support the loca!j:hurch and it'sleaders.
