Gin SourIngredients1 juicy lemon 1.5 ounces gin 3-4 strawberries 1 ounce simple syrup

Instructions 1. In a cocktail shaker muddle strawberries, simple syrup and juice from 1 lemon. 2. Add ice and gin to shaker; shake for 10-15 seconds. 3. ProcedurePour some celery salt onto a small plate. Rub the juicy side of the lemon or lime wedge along the lip of a pint glass. Roll the outer edge of the glass in celery salt until fully coated. Fill with ice and set aside. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a shaker and drop them in. Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake gently and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a celery stalk and a lime wedge.

ProcedureMix all ingredients together in a pitcher or punch bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with orange or pineapple slices.

Rum Punch

Ingredients 8 cups orange juice 8 cups pineapple juice 6 cups light rum 1 cup grenadine 4 cups Sprite

Procedure1. Mix all ingredients in a LARGE punch bowl.2. May add more Sprite, to taste.

Irish coffeeIngredients1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 jigger Irish whiskey (1 1/2 ounces or 3 tablespoons) Heavy cream, slightly whipped

Procedure Fill footed mug or a mug with hot water to preheat it, then empty. Pour piping hot coffee into warmed glass until it is about 3/4 full. Add the brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Blend in Irish whiskey. Top with a collar of the whipped heavy cream by pouring gently over back of spoon. Serve hot.

ManhattanIngredient 2 dashes angostura bitters 1 ounce sweet vermouth 2 1/2 ounces bourbon, such as Buffalo Trace 1 maraschino cherry ProcedureFill a short glass 2/3 full with ice. Add bitters, vermouth, and bourbon. Add cherry (and crush it against the side of the glass with a spoon). Stir.

Fill glass halfway with ice, and then stir about a dozen times. Add enough ice to fill glass. Squeeze orange peel over glass to extract oils, add peel to glass, and add whiskey. Stir just until drink is cold and alcoholic bite has softened, about a dozen times. Garnish with cherry, swizzle stick, and straw.

Old FashionedIngredient 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 1 teaspoon water 2 dashes angostura bitters 1 slice orange rind Ice 2 ounces rye whiskey or bourbon 1 maraschino cherry

ProcedureIn an Old Fashioned glass, muddle the sugar, water, bitters, and orange rind together until the sugar has dissolved. Fill the glass with ice, add the whiskey or bourbon, and garnish with the cherry. Serve with a cocktail straw.

MargaritaIngredients 2 oz. silver tequila 1 oz. blue curacao 1 oz. triple sec 1 oz. lime juice

ProcedureMix all ingredients in a shaker half filled with ice, and shake to chill. Strain over fresh ice in margarita glass (salt rim is optional). Serve garnished with a lime wedge.

Procedure1. Pour tequila in a tall glass with ice and pour orange juice. Stir.2. Add Grenadine by angle the glass and quickly turn the bottle upside down the exact amount is not important. Grenadine should fall right to the bottom and then slowly rises, creating a distinctive red-orange color.3. Garnish with a stick, straw and cherry or orange.

Procedure1. Pour the juice of 1 lemon into a small dish. Pour the sugar into another. Dip the edge of each glass into first the lemon, then the sugar. Set the glasses aside while you make the drinks.2. Mix together the cognac, lemon juice and Grand Marnier together in a 2-cup measuring cup.3. Fill a cocktail shaker full with ice, add the the cocktail mix and shake for 30 seconds.4. Add some ice to the sugar-rimmed glasses and pour the cocktails. Garnish with cherries.
