Important Instructions:

In case of any new Doctor addition, TBM needs to search that Doctor in Abbott Database. If Doctor is available in the database, TBM can directly assign that Doctor to his/her list. This will not create duplicate record in customer database and also save time of the TBM.

If the Doctor / Chemist which TBM wants to add in his/her list is covered by his colleague of another division, he/she can ask code of that Doctor in Abbworld and can add the same Doctor in his list using Doctor code.

If TBM does not find Doctor in customer search result, than only he/she will add the Doctor using 2nd option. For any new Doctor addition in Abbott database, TBM needs to attach visiting card (prescription pad page if visiting card not available) as pdf or jpeg file.

All changes (addition / deactivation) done by TBM in his/her Customer list will require respective manager approval.

TBM will not be able to report calls on deactivated customers once approved by his Manager. Only those customers which are planned in MTP can be reported.

1. Steps to Add a New Customer in your List in Abbworld

To add new customer in your Customers list, you need to follow the defined procedure in Abbworld. If customer is available in Abbott database, you need to assign that customer directly to your list else you need to add him/her as a new customer

STEP 1:

1. Click on Customer Search

Step 1: Go to Customer Search, select customer type as Doctor (to add chemist, you need to select chemist) and select “Filter Criteria Search” in Search options. You can use “Customer Code Search” if you know the code of the customer whom you want to add in your list

2. Select “Filter Criteria Search” option. You can select “Customer Code Search” also if you know the code of the Customer

3. Enter mandatory information like First Name, Last Name State and City and Click on “Search” button to search Doctor in Abbott Database

STEP 2(a):

Step 2(a): After clicking on Search button, view your searched Doctor information under Priority 1, 2, 3 etc (searched results), if you get your Doctor in Abbott database search result, click on “Add” link to add that Doctor in your list

STEP 2(b):

After completing Customer Assignment, click on “Submit” button

Step 2(b): Update customer assignment (Frequency, Preferred STP Day, Market Type and Patch) of added Doctor. Click on “Submit” button to send your customer assignment request for approval.

STEP 3(a,b) (If Customer is not available in Database):

After selecting Type of New Customer you want to add, click on “Continue”

Step 3(a): If Customer is not available in Abbott database, you need to add that Customer using “New Customer” button

Step 3(b): Select Type of new Customer you want to add & click on Continue button

Click on ”New Customer” button

STEP 3(c):

After filling all required information, click on Save & Next button

Step 3(c): Fill all necessary information of your Customer in blank customer page and click on “Save & Next” button

STEP 3(d):

Enter address details and attach visiting card of the Doctor using “Choose File” button

Step 3(d): Fill address details of your customer, you need to attach visiting card or prescription pad of the Doctor with complete information in supported format (Jpeg, Pdf etc) using “Choose File” button. Click on “Save & Next” button

STEP 3(e):

After completing Customer Assignment, click on “Submit” button

2. Steps to Deactivate (remove) Customer from your List

You need to submit Customer deactivation request to your manager along with reason in case you want to remove any of your customer from your customer list

STEP 1: Step 1: Click on “Customer Plan” tab and select “My DVL” list to view your active Customer list. Select the check boxes of those Doctors which you want to deactivate and click on “Deactivate” button

Select the customers from your Customer list and click on “Deactivate” button

STEP 2:

Step 2: Mention the “Reason for deactivation” (removal) of customers from your list and click on “Confirm” button

3. Customer Status Report of Add / Deactivate Customer

Once you complete your customer addition and deactivation, you can access Customer Updation Status Report in Abbworld to view the status of your customers and total changes done by you in the list

STEP 1:

Click on “+” Icon and click on “Reports” link

Step 1(a): To view submission of your daily expense you need to click on “Expense Statement” link.

Step 1(b): Click on “Unfiled Public Reports” and later click on “Customer Updation Status Report”

Step 2: System will display the report with total changes done by you along with Status of those requests (Submit for Approval, Submit for Deactivation, Active etc.)
