1. GC TO VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS AT THE JOBSITE AND NOTIFY ARCHITECT IN WRITING OF ANY OMISSIONS, DISCREPANCIES, AND/ORCONFLICTS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK.
2. GC TO SUBMIT ALL SHOP DRAWINGS AND SUBMITTALS TO ARCHITECT FOR APPROVALBEFORE FABRICATION OR INSTALLATION OF ANY ITEMS. REQUIRED SHOP DRAWINGSUBMITTALS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, MILLWORK, HVAC, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL,GLASS AND GLAZING, ALL FINISHES, AND DOOR HARDWARE.
3. PROVIDE BLOCKING IN PARTITIONS AS REQUIRED TO SECURE ALL WALLMOUNTED ITEMS TOPARTITIONS. ALL BLOCKING SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE BUILDING AND FIRE CODEREQUIREMENTS.
4. ALL MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS OF FIRE-RATED ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE APPROVED BYU.L. OR OTHER RECOGNIZED STANDARD FOR USE IN SUCH ASSEMBLIES.
5. PROVIDE A SIGN STATING "NO SMOKING", "SMOKE-FREE" OR "THIS IS A NON-SMOKINGESTABLISHMENT" AS REQUIRED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION. CONSPICUOUSLYPOST AT EACH ENTRY POINT TO THE BUILDING WITH ALL LETTERS OR SYMBOLS THEREONBEING NO LESS THAN 3 INCHES IN HEIGHT.
6. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS CONVEY DESIGN INTENT AND THE CONTRACTOR SHALLFURNISH ALL NECESSARY LABOR AND MATERIALS TO COMPLETE THE WORK. MEANS ANDMETHODS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.
7. ALL MANUFACTURED ARTICLES, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE APPLIED,INSTALLED, CONNECTED, ERECTED, USED, CLEANED, AND CONDITIONED IN ACCORDANCEWITH THE MANUFACTURER'S WRITTEN SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS UNLESS SPECIFIEDHEREIN TO THE CONTRARY.
8. UNLESS DIMENSIONED OTHERWISE, DEPTH OF FURRING ON COLUMNS AND OTHERELEMENTS IS TO BE HELD TO THE MINIMUM THICKNESS REQUIRED TO CONCEAL MECHANICAL,PLUMBING, OR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS.
9. COMMUNICATION, DATA, SECURITY AND SIMILAR SYSTEMS WILL BE FURNISHED ANDINSTALLED BY THE TENANT UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. ITSHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH THE TENANT'SVENDORS AND PROVIDE CONDUIT, BOXES, AND OTHER ROUGH-IN REQUIREMENTS TOFACILITATE FINAL INSTALLATION.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICALREQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF THE JOB.
