ZX0. The compact multitalent.

This modern gas-insulated mediumvoltage switchgear stands for economi-cal and reliable power distribution. Withits modular structure and digital controlsystem, the compact system is the idealsolution for service in municipal andprivate utility networks, in industry and inpublic buildings.

ZX0. Perfect engineeringfor fault-free use.
In order to detect and interruptfault currents, it is necessary touse circuit-breakers, and thereforealso current transformer signalsand protection relay functions. Forlocal control – remote control isavailable as an option – theintegrated switchbay control andprotection unit REF542 optimallyfulfils the requirements as thebrain of a circuit-breaker panel. The positions of the switchingdevices are detected by inductiveproximity switches.
All switching devices with discon-necting and earthing functions aredesigned as compact 3-positionswitches. The motive energy istransmitted by a single shaft ineach case.
Maintenance of switching devicesin the high voltage compartment isno longer necessary. Fault-freeuse is facilitated by the lifetimeseal of the encapsulation and theunlimited switching capacity of thevacuum circuit-breaker. Thedemonstrated resistance tointernal arc faults guarantees thesafety of the operators.

The free choice of the optimumswitching device for the relevantapplication ensures that the techni-cal and economic conditions arecompletely fulfilled.
The practical busbar plug-in methodfor connection of individual systemblocks makes simple assemblypossible. It is no longer necessary toopen up the gas-tight units.
With its high versatility and adapta-bility, the system permits the combi-nation of all variants into completeswitchboards.
