In FY11 it was determined that we should add information to the OY/NY timeline which advises users that there should be no PHAREDS entries entered after 2:00 PM while the BUDMs are running.

Payroll received phone calls from users who were trying to enter PHAREDS that the system was extremely slow. It appears that they should not be done at this time. The payroll office had also tried to enter some payroll adjustments and this appeared to interfere for FAST as well.

The jss job parameter update shell (pzpparm.shl) runs a program (p_hr_update_gzbprun.sql) that automatically updates the new fiscal start dates in jobs PZRWKSA and PZRWKST. Once upon a time this had to be changed manually at the start of a new fiscal year but it has been automated since January of 2006.
