The purpose of this discussion item is to begin to develop a list of specific issues that need to be studied (i.e., thresholds to define good, fair, and poor pavement conditions) in order to determine if any modifications to current regulations are needed. Once the issues are identified, FHWA and the commit-tee members will develop a work plan to include the activities, resource needs, and a timeline for the work plan. FHWA, NCHRP, and the TPM Pooled Fund will provide resources, if available and appropriate, to support the delivery of each work plan.
