Tasks - portfolioPortfolio = collection of evidence on one’s expertise.
Expertise consists of attitude, knowledge and skills.• Attitude might include curiosity, tackling new challenges, taking risks,
but also dealing with insecurity and criticism. • Knowledge might include your own discipline, interdisciplinary product
development and on contexts of application. • Skills can be divided into discipline-specific (using a 3D-printer) and
meta-level skills (presentation, communication or teamwork).
Tasks - portfolio
The portfolio should not be based on Aaltonaut activities only. The following elements could be included:
• Course learning and activities (PERSONAL PARTICIPATION RATE AND ACTIVITY, HOPS, grades, reflections, reports, photos, videos, etc.)
• Other academic activities (diplomas, publications, workshops, seminars, student activities)
• Work experience (summer jobs, company projects)
Tasks – PD-discussion
• Time for discussions will be agreed with Elina after the Product course.
• The form of the discussion focuses on learning, study goals and accomplishments
Portfolio exercise – Part 1
• Think about your experiences (jobs, hobbies, activities) that have affected your attitudes, knowledge and skills.
• List your experiences and learnings of these and visualize them (poster, mind map, ppt)
• 5 min presentations in groups of 4-5 persons
Portfolio exercise – Part 2
• Select the format of your portfolio (Wiki, blog, LinkedIn…)
• Create your personal wiki page and save the link / portfolio
• Part 1 + Part 2 = 1 hour + presentations
