Alpine Air Ambulance carries out repatriations, transfers, emergency doctor shuttle operations and organ transports. Our network partners for this are carefully selected aviationand transport companies.

RepatriationsRepatriations are return transports, or transports backhome, of people who are taken ill or have accidents whileon holiday or abroad. This is our core function. We fulfillthis with airplanes, helicopters and ground ambulancesof the Lions Air Group AG or other selected partnercompanies. Depending on the journey distance we use anambulance airplane that repatriates either one or upto six patients in one flight.

With stretchers developed specially for Alpine AirAmbulance, we can use an Airbus 320 for the repatriationof up to 28 patients at a time. This facility is uniquethroughout Europe. For shorter distances of up to500 kilometers we use a specially equipped helicopterfor repatriations.

Accompanied flightsDepending on the medical situation of the patients, weorganize charter or scheduled flights with accompanyingmedical personnel. Our team of physicians and nurses thencares for its patients competently and highly professionallyat all times, taking charge of the patients at the foreignhospital and accompanying them all the way to the hospitalin their home country. Our teams thus repatriate peoplefrom all the continents in the world every day.
