Cub Cadets were recognized, and students received reading, math, and character awards. This six weeks Principal’s Club winner was La’Briyah Hill. She won a bicycle, compliments of the Rotary Club and the Brownsville Police Department, which provides the helmet and safety gear. The school collected a total of 672 cans this year. The winning homerooms were Mrs. Myrna Gorman and Mrs. Sarita Johnson. Their homerooms will receive a breakfast treat of doughnuts and juice! Mrs. Amanda Stanley’s rst- grade class was recognized for highest participation and attendance in the center. Mr. Stephen May presented the character awards at each program.
