No Direction More Billions wasted Losing Control

While Australian families struggle with rising cost of livingpressures, Labors Budget has cut support for families, raisedtaxes, racked up a record debt and ignored the Carbon Tax.

More cost o living pressures on amilies

Labor is stripping $2 billion from families by freezing key family tax payments andthresholds at a time when families are struggling with rising living costs. All familiesreceiving Family Tax benefits will have some benefits stripped. On top of that, Labor ishitting Australians with $6 billion in new and higher taxes including a Flood Tax.

    More debt and defcit

Wasteful and reckless spending has blown out Australias debt to a record $107 billion.Every day, Labor is borrowing $135 million just to pay for its reckless spending. This isputting unnecessary upward pressure on interest rates.

    Billions wasted and mismanaged

Australians are still paying for Labors mismanagement and waste like the school hallsmess and the home insulation scheme. And now Labors failure to control our bordershas created a $1.75 billion blowout in the cost of managing our detention centresmeaning families are missing out.

A Carbon Tax to increase prices

Under the Gillard-Brown Carbon Tax, average power bills are expected to rise $300 ayear, petrol prices to increase by 6.5c a litre and grocery prices to rise by 5 per cent.
