On Eid ul �tr a donation of large packs of hot cooked food for over people was donated by Khizra mosque to a homeless shelter in the Cheetham hill area who provide food for over 100 people a day. This was provided from generous donations from brothers and sisters for this cause and our celebrating Eid in the community with those who are less fortunate than us. The sta� and service users some of who are homeless and needy were very grateful for the food provided. Our volunteers also donated new clothing and long life food for the needy to use and take away. May Allah accept this donation and help all those in di�culty in this world. Jazakallah khairun.

At the end of Ramadan our volunteers were out shopping and buying food for the needy in our local community. We were able to support 13 families in the local area including a few families from other areas in greater Manchester. Thank you to all those who have made generous donations towards this much needed cause. This is a project in which we provide food to needy families in this area every month with one month supply of food. May Allah accept the e�ort and hard work of all involved and help those who are in need and struggling. Jazakallah khairun to all involved.

If you want to �nd out about how to get healthy and stay healthy please attend this event at Khizra Mosque. An excellent health awareness event to be held at Khizra. Please see our poster for more details.
IFTAR IN THE COMMUNITYAs per the last few years Khizra Mosque has opened its doors to the community to come and visit the mosque for a tour, presentation and delicious meal. We have had excellent feedback on these events which have been an excellent opportunity for people to view the mosque and learn about Islam and Ramadan. We had over 500 people attend the iftar in the community over the course of Ramadan.
Our communal iftar was able to provide food on a daily basis for over 300 people on a daily basis for the month of Ramadan. We would like to thank all the sponsors for the iftar for their generous donations during this blessed month and may Allah accept the donations and reward them in this life and the next.
