Lightweight Sundolitt XPS is a lightweight material with heavyweight performance. It is supplied packed inconvenient sizes to suit your storage/logistics needs invarious size options to enable easy handling on site. Thisavoids the need for heavy lifting equipment and speeds upinstallation and project completion.

Versatility Sundolitt XPS is the professional solution where strength and minimal water absorption are critical.Importantly, XPS retains its strength over the full service lifeof the material and is not affected by rain, snow or frost. Itcan be stored outdoors out of direct sunlight. In addition toflat surface board, Sundolitt can also supply XPS with an‘embossed’ surface to improve the adhesion of surfacecoatings such as external render materials. XPS is alsoavailable as drainage lined boards with non-wovenmembrane. Our expert team will be happy to assist you indeveloping bespoke products to suit your project needs.

Environmental Benefits Sundolitt XPS is majority CO2

blown, meaning it uses no harmfulgreenhouses gases in manufacture. It can also be recycled at the end ofits life. Our third-party accreditedEnvironmental Product Declarationconfirms Sundolitt XPS has aGWP of less than 5 and ODPof zero

XPSXTREME PERFORMANCE & STRENGTH

For the full specifications of our XPS range, please see our latest XPSspecification data sheet or visit www.sundolitt.co.uk.

Most of our raw materials are sourced from our own Europeanmanufacturing plants which operate in full compliance with theenvironmental management system ISO 14001:2004 Certificate 901198.All our sites are also accredited to the global quality managementstandard BS EN ISO 9001:2008 as a comprehensive assurance of ourcommitment to quality in every part of our business. We also operate theEC Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) to ensure that all relevantlaws and regulations are adhered to and continuous environmentalimprovements are achieved.

All Sundolitt XPS insulation products for the building and civil engineeringsector are manufactured in compliance with BS EN 13164: 2008 - theEuropean standard for XPS thermal insulation products for theconstruction industry. Sundolitt XPS provides insulation levels whichcomply with Part L of Building Regulations for England & Wales and forScotland Section 6 (previously part J). Our self-extinguishing material isapproved to DIN 4102-16.

Load Bearing Sundolitt XPS can withstand extreme loads - making it suitable for use in structures where there are strictrequirements for weight-bearing applications. Sundolitt XPSoffers excellent long-term strength over the lifetime of theinstallation to EN826. The material is also a proven solutionfor industrial flooring projects such as cold stores andchilled storage facilities as well as inverted roofingapplications.

Thermal Performance Thermal performance is a crucial factor when selecting insulation for your project. Sundolitt XPS has auniformly closed cell structure that resists water penetrationand therefore maintains the longevity of its thermalresistance (R-value) even in the toughest conditions.Coupled with a material that prevents air convection andinfiltration, Sundolitt XPS is a proven insulator in a widerange of construction applications.

The low lambda values of Sundolitt XPS insulation can aidimprovements on thermal conductivity (K-value) bydelivering reduced energy costs whilst improving theenvironmental footprint too. With the availability of a ship lapedge to prevent thermal bridging and stop capillary action –at no extra cost – Sundolitt is committed to achieving lowerU-values as part of our standard production range.

Water Resistant Whilst many construction materials absorb moisture in the form of vapours or liquids, Sundolitt XPShas a closed cell structure that is proven in submersion anddiffusion tests to resist and considerably reduce moistureabsorption. Sundolitt XPS also has the advantage ofmaintaining its insulating performance even in anenvironment of high moisture content. It can also be storedand installed in wet weather conditions.

XPSXTREME PERFORMANCE & STRENGTH

Whether your project involves flooring, roofing or civilengineering structures, Sundolitt XPS is available in differentload bearing classifications from 200kPa to 700kPa. Thiscovers applications from domestic to very high commercialload uses.

Sundolitt has a range of XPS products to suit allapplications including those that demand extremely highload bearing qualities whilst at the same time protectingagainst frost damage or moisture ingress even in un-drained ground.

Typical installations include commercial flooring, invertedroofing, cold stores and swimming pools and much more.Whatever your requirements our XPS expert team canrecommend a solution without obligation.
