The annual event is being sponsored by March of Dimes, MTD, Insouth Bank and RJ’s Hibachi. There will be celebrity waiters/ waitresses, comprised of local public figures, who will serve breakfast and coffee from the Breakfast Buffet, which will cost $7.99. The waiters/waitresses will donate all their tips to the March of Dimes. Also, RJ’s Hibachi will donate a portion of the breakfast revenue. Besides the celebrity waiters/ waitresses, attendees will also get the chance to meet this year’s Breakfast for Babies Haywood County Ambassador, Sarah Willis, the daughter of Lt. Chuck and Jennifer Willis. Celebrities will include: Danny Murley, John Simmons, Jo Matherne, Franklin Smith, Joyce Moore, Toni Eubanks, Darlene Ferrell, Eddie Martin, Michael Banks, Sonny Howse, Sheriff Melvin Bond, Phillip Cook, JoAnne Finn, Carolyn Flagg, Marlon King, Daphne King, Drew Magruder, JoAnna Morris, John Finn, Sonya Castelaw, Jody Lea, Jimmy Studdard, Joey Conner, John Gallaspy, Scott Stoots, Joe Ing, Greg Vanstory, Delores Gresham, John Ashworth, Nathan Spencer, Travis Baggett, Gaylon Baggett, Elliott Simmons, Jeremy Gray, Steve Collins, Chief Chris Lea, Alan Callery, Mary Bond Lonon, Sara Beth Banks and Sandra Angotti. Annual Breakfast for Babies event to be held next week The Haywood County Habitat for Humanity began construction on their tenth house last week as members of the First Assembly of God began laying the foundation. According to Freddy Smith, building supervisor, the residence recipient, Venus Lewis, should be able to move into her new home in three to four months. Smith exclaimed volunteers are still needed for the home project and described the work as a way of “giving back to the community.” The newly constructed structure will be located on Cherryville Road in the northern part of Haywood County.
