In the age of the Internet, consumers are demanding more interaction and integration between their differ-ent means of communications across fixed, mobile, PC, tablet and TV devices. The needs of residential users are the most challenging to meet, as this group ranges from users who are satisfied with a regular phone and/or a mobile phone, to technology enthusiasts who are interested in the latest service, the most up-to-date terminals and the most exciting quality of experience. Consumers also demand the latest, most interesting services at the lowest price and they want these services to be easy to acquire, use and combine.

GENBAND’s A2 Services for Consumers powered by the A2 Communications Application Server enables residential users to take control of their communications and define when, how and where calls reach the family. This solution provides easier control of existing features, such as call waiting, call transfer and conferencing, through an easy-to-use soft client that can be used alone or in combination with a phone.

• Personal Agent Web Portal: An easy to use web portal that users can visit to view and personalize all aspects of their phone lines, including creating or modifying rules for incoming calls based on time of day or week, Caller ID, call logs for sent, missed and answered calls, and managing services.

• Open Programmability: GENFuzion APIs enable extend-ing communications services into consumer applications such as calling features from web apps like Facebook
