The scriptures encourage us to be tenderhearted, kind, and forgiving. But it’s not always easy or automac to be kind to other people. Has someone ever cut in front of you in line, upset you for no reason at all, or talked about you behind your back? When you find yourself in these types of situaons, how do you respond? Modern culture tells us to get even with people that mistreat us. It’s not unusual to hear stories of people lashing out at others. However, as Chrisans we are called to love and pracce forgiveness. Bierness keeps us a prisoner to others, but forgiveness frees us to live above how someone has treated us. God in Christ forgave us. We do well to follow His example. How to Become a Christian Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23) Believe that Jesus is God’s son. (Acts 4:12) Confess Jesus is your Lord. (Romans 10:9) Perhaps today is the day for your salvaon. If you would like to speak with a pastor or decision counselor, please complete the tear-off at the right and/or come forward at the pastor’s invitaon at the end of today’s worship service.
